John Brozena Ph.D
43 years at the Naval Research Laboratory as Head of the Marine Physics Branch. Guided the development and applications of remote sensing equipment and data acquisition and analysis systems. Work included marine geophysics, airborne gravimetry, radar and laser altimetry and surface mapping, synthetic aperture radar, photogrammetry and airborne acoustic sensors. Areas of application include crustal geophysics, geodesy, glacial and sea-ice research, sea-surface topography, bathymetry and marine acoustics, digital mapping (scanning lidar, photogrammetry, SAR, and HSI), and anti-submarine warfare.
